Daily Hitter and Daily Pitcher have different shared drafts and separate standings. You can play one ranked attempt per device, per mode, each day.
A level playing field
Every player in a given daily mode sees the same draft. Your choices—not a different deck—determine whether you climb the daily board.

The daily challenge resets at 12:00 AM Eastern. Open Play remains available anytime for a fresh randomized baseball draft.
