Rarity boosts a card’s in-game skill values, but it never replaces the decision of choosing the tool your build needs most.

Rarity is an advantage, not an automatic pick

Higher-tier cards can offer stronger in-game boosts, but a lower-tier card with the exact missing skill can still be the smarter choice for your unfinished player.

Draft composition

Open Play and Daily formats draw cards according to their own game rules. Special releases can appear in limited rarity tiers when they are active.

Build for the final player

Judge each card in the context of the nine required hitter tools or four pitcher pitches plus five traits. A complete build beats a collection of disconnected highlights.
