A power-first build can look great, but WAR Maxxing rewards a complete player with enough on-base ability, defensive value, and playing time to turn skills into value.
Every card removes one option from the run. Pick the highest-value skill your unfinished hitter still needs instead of automatically taking the biggest rating.
Durability affects playing time. A great collection of skills has less time to create value if the finished player cannot stay on the field.
Speed helps on the bases and in the field, while fielding and arm carry more weight at some positions. A balanced defensive profile can raise a build beyond what a single huge offensive rating does.
